The 2025 Infiniti QX60 will feature a new powertrain—the VC-Turbo engine previously introduced in the QX50 back in 2019. The turbocharged four-cylinder engine generates 268 horsepower, which is 27 horsepower less than the previous 295-hp V-6. Despite the reduction in horsepower, the new engine promises better fuel efficiency and delivers 286 pound-feet of torque, an improvement of 16 pound-feet over the old V-6. The second generation of the QX60, launched in 2022, boasts sleek design and a luxurious interior. While the 2025 model won't see major styling changes, it will receive various updates, most notably the replacement of the 3.5-liter V-6 with the VC-Turbo engine that debuted in the QX50 for the 2019 model year.
The VC-Turbo is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that employs a variable-compression-ratio system, designed to enhance fuel economy without compromising performance. This engine produces 268 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque, offering 27 fewer horsepower but 16 more pound-feet of torque compared to the outgoing V-6. The QX60 comes standard with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive remains an option on all trims except the top-tier Autograph trim. Every model is equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
